ANACORTES, WA – October 13, 2026 – Niche Watercraft is thrilled to officially announce that S&J Yachts has joined the brand family as its Authorized Representative for the Chesapeake (New Jersey through Virginia) market. Founded in 2004 in Annapolis, S&J Yachts is a full-service yacht brokerage serving cruisers with a hands-on, client-first approach.

S&J Yachts is owned by Sharon and Jack Malatich, whose shared passion for boating and extensive on-the-water experience shape their approach to yacht brokerage.

Jack grew up in a marine construction and deep-sea diving family business before pursuing an executive career in New York. He returned to his passion for boating in 1996, beginning his yacht brokerage career on the Chesapeake Bay with the belief that a broker should own boats and sail them. Sharon grew up sailing and racing in Ontario, Canada. Following a successful career in business management, she took a 4-year sailing sabbatical and spent those years cruising and living aboard her boat, completing the Great Circle Loop and exploring the Atlantic Seaboard and the Bahamas.
